Offwhite of haverkleurige bekleding houdt het geheel licht; marineblauw of donkergroen concurreert met de zee en haalt de balans weg. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wordt het teal koud in een kamer op het noorden?
Minder dan je zou denken. Het lichte zanddeel brengt genoeg warmte om het water in balans te houden, en in vlak noordelijk licht worden de twee juist een zachte, egale tint in plaats van koud. Help een handje met een warmwitte muur en iets van natuurlijk hout of jute in de buurt. Vermijd grijze verf erachter, want die haalt het roze eruit.

Hoe groot moet het zijn om de surfers goed te zien?
Niet zo groot als je misschien denkt. Vanaf ongeveer 50 cm vierkant lijken ze op stipjes en wordt het werk een abstract van water en zand, wat prima is in een badkamer. Vanaf 70 cm kun je de surfers vanaf de bank in de kamer onderscheiden, en vanaf 90 cm of meer wordt de schuimstructuur het belangrijkste element.

Botst het roze zand met een witte badkamer?
Nee, zolang het wit warm is. Tegen off-white tegels of limewash oogt het blushzand als zonovergoten kust en tilt het teal de hele kamer op. Tegen een koel, blauwachtig wit of grijze voeg kan het roze iets krijtachtig worden. Voeg oatmeal handdoeken of een houten kruk toe en de balans is meteen terug.
