Breng rust en diepte in je interieur met deze canvas van een enkele witte bloem op gewassen blauw. Het zachte blauw voelt als een raam in een gang zonder ramen; de witte bloem trekt subtiel de aandacht en leidt het oog door de ruimte. Hang het iets lager dan je eerste gevoel zegt, zodat de steel optisch vanaf de vloer begint. Laat de muur eromheen rustig: lichtgrijs stucwerk, een smalle loper in haverkleur eronder, geen kapstok aan die wand. In de badkamer werkt hetzelfde effect vanaf de deur, met wit tegelwerk dat het licht terugkaatst in het blauw. Houd de breedte onder 50 cm. Hoogte valt het meest op, dus geef daar de ruimte aan. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wordt het blauw koud in een badkamer op het noorden?
Het blijft koel, maar wel gelijkmatig. Noordlicht bevat heel weinig geel, dus het gewassen blauw oogt de hele dag als dezelfde kleur in plaats van warm en koud te verschuiven. De witte bloem geeft het oog een helder punt om op te landen. Houd handdoeken en badmatten in gebroken wit of oat in plaats van zuiver wit, en de ruimte wordt eromheen warmer zonder dat het beeld verandert.
Hoe breed moet de wand zijn voor zo’n hoog werk?
Je hebt minder nodig dan je denkt. Het kunstwerk is twee keer zo hoog als breed, dus een wand van 45 tot 60 cm draagt het prima bij 40 tot 50 cm breed. Laat aan beide kanten een handbreedte kale muur vrij en verder niets op die wand. De hoogte doet het werk, dus als je tussen twee maten kiest, ga dan liever hoger dan breder.
Kan ik er twee naast elkaar hangen?
Ja, en dat past goed in een slaapkamer. Hang een paar aan weerszijden van het bed met de bloemkoppen op gelijke hoogte en ongeveer 10 cm boven de bovenkant van het hoofdbord. Houd 15 tot 20 cm ruimte ertussen zodat elke steel op zichzelf leesbaar blijft. In een hal werkt een rij van drie ook, gelijkmatig verdeeld over één lange wand zonder andere afbeeldingen ertussen.
