Geef je trapportaal of overloop direct rust met deze canvas. Dit werk komt het best tot zijn recht vanaf circa 100 cm hoog: zo stijgt de mast boven je ooglijn uit terwijl je naar boven loopt. Ga voor groot en het grijsgroene water gaat bijna op in de muur, in plaats van los te hangen als beeld. De crèmekleurige lucht verheldert een donkere overloop zonder extra kleur toe te voegen – ideaal bij een geschilderde, geprofileerde muur in zacht wit of leem.
Klein valt weg: in kleinere formaten krimpt de boot tot ansichtkaart en verdwijnt de kalmte. Tussen twee ramen in de slaapkamer werkt het net zo goed; hang de bovenkant gelijk met de bovenzijde van de ramen en laat er niets naast hangen.
Op canvas komen de zachte wassingen nog subtieler over. De canvas wordt kant‑en‑klaar geleverd om op te hangen.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Werkt dit op een trapwand zonder raam?
Ja, en dit is juist een van de betere keuzes daarvoor. Het beeld is grotendeels licht crème, dus het weerspiegelt het licht dat de overloop bereikt in plaats van het op te slokken. Tegen een leem- of off-white muur oogt het als een zacht lichtvlak. Voeg één warme wandlamp toe die van boven schijnt, en de watertinten blijven zacht in plaats van grijs te worden.
Botst het grijs-groen met een warme crèmekleurige hal?
Nee. Het groen zit alleen in de schaduwen en beplanting, en het water bevat net zoveel warm grijs als groen. Naast crème- of steenkleurige verf oogt het juist rustig in plaats van koel. De enige combinatie die je beter vermijdt is een hal die al in een sterke salie- of olijfgroene tint is geschilderd, want dan valt het beeld bijna weg tegen de muur erachter.
Kan ik er twee naast elkaar hangen tussen de ramen?
Ja, en een paar werkt goed op een brede slaapkamerwand met drie ramen, één in elke muurstrook. Houd ze allebei op dezelfde hoogte, met de bovenkanten gelijk met de raamkozijnen, en gebruik voor beide hetzelfde formaat. Op een smalle enkele muurstrook of een trapwand is één genoeg, en een tweede haalt alleen de rust weg.
