Back in the 1960s, this kind of painterly abstract belonged to another kind of home — one with plaster walls, deep sofas and a record on in the background. It still does that job. Hang it in a warm living room and the space settles down. The pinks soften the room, the mustard and deep red give it weight, and the black block stops the whole thing drifting. How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the black block feel too heavy in a soft, warm room?
No — it acts as an anchor, not a shadow. The pinks and creams take up most of the canvas, so the single dark shape gives the composition weight without making the wall feel dark. It actually helps the softer colours read more clearly.
Does this work above a bed, or is it better in a living room?
Both. Above a bed it adds warmth without being floral or fussy. Above a sofa or sideboard it holds the room together. The palette is calm enough for a bedroom but the scale of the brushwork gives a living room something to look at.
Is the surface visibly textured, or does it read as flat?
It reads as a textured painting — you can see brush direction, ridges and where the paint has been laid on thickly. The print captures that surface, so it looks like an oil painting on the wall rather than a flat graphic.
