Most animal prints behave. This one picks a side. Six Highland cows stand in rows, each one wearing a different pattern in blue, orange and soft pink on a pale pink background. Put it up and a plain wall stops being background. It gives a kitchen, hallway or kids' room a bit of humour without shouting, and the pink base keeps the whole thing soft rather than loud. Hang it at eye level on a light wall, or above a sideboard, bench or chest of drawers. Pair it with painted cabinetry, pale wood, cane, and cream or blue stoneware. Don't crowd it with other busy patterned pieces — it wants a bit of clear wall either side. As a paper print it keeps the flat, hand-painted look crisp.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink background clash with white kitchen walls?
No. The pink here is very pale and warm, so against a white or off-white wall it reads as a gentle glow rather than a colour block. If your walls are cool bright white, a white frame or float edge bridges the two nicely and keeps the blue looking crisp.
Is it too childish for a grown-up kitchen?
It's playful, not babyish. The cows are treated as folk-art figures with stars, crosses and stripes, closer to painted Scandinavian folk work than a cartoon. In a kitchen with painted cabinetry and plain pottery it reads as a bit of character rather than a children's picture.
Can I hang it in a narrow hallway?
Yes, and it's one of the better spots. The portrait shape suits a slim wall, and because the six cows are stacked in rows you take them in as you pass. Leave a hand's width of clear wall each side and hang at eye level for the person walking, not standing.
What size works above a chest of drawers?
Medium is the sweet spot. Aim for a print roughly two-thirds the width of the drawers, hung with a small gap above the top surface. Any smaller and the individual patterns get lost; much larger and the rows start to crowd a low piece of furniture.
