Over dit kunstwerk
Tegen lichte eiken keukenkastjes oogt het felle geel minder zoet en juist meer doordacht. Zichtbare penseelstreken geven het een losse, handgemaakte uitstraling, niet strak-grafisch. Hang het op en een rustige keukenmuur krijgt direct een duidelijk focuspunt: kleur zonder rommel. Komt het best tot zijn recht boven het aanrecht, aan de wand van de ontbijthoek of bij het broodrooster – precies waar je het elke ochtend ziet. Combineert mooi met terracotta vloertegels, licht eiken, witte lambrisering, gevlochten manden en steengoed in crème of mosterd. Laat het liever achterwege als je keuken al vol zit met uitgesproken tegels, druk behang en concurrerende prints – deze poster heeft wat ademruimte nodig. Gedrukt op dik fine-art papier met een zachte matte afwerking.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the pineapple painted by hand or printed flat?
The original artwork is hand-painted, and you can see the brushwork clearly — the cross-hatching on the pineapple body wobbles, the green crown has visible strokes, and the slice shows where paint pooled. The print reproduces all of that texture, so it reads as a painting rather than a flat graphic poster.
Will the bright yellow look too much in a small kitchen?
The yellow only takes up the centre of the print — most of the surface is warm cream, so it's brighter in feel than in actual colour coverage. In a small kitchen it acts as a single focal point rather than flooding the room with yellow. If your kitchen is already mostly cream, oak or white, it lifts the space rather than dominating it.
Does it work above a kitchen counter or is it better elsewhere?
It's portrait orientation and the composition runs vertically, so above a kitchen counter, on a narrow pantry wall or behind a breakfast table all work well. Avoid hanging it directly above the hob — heat and grease aren't friendly to fine-art paper or canvas.
