Kies eerst de lijst, dan de muur. Met zwart wordt het rood dieper, het crème kleurt voller en de poster komt krachtig tot zijn recht – perfect in de keuken, recht uitgelijnd met de bovenkant van de spatwand. Wit doet het omgekeerde: op een lichte muur vloeit het crème weg en lijkt de bloem direct op het stucwerk te rusten – mooi voor de slaapkamer of een rustige overloop. Eiken verzacht het geheel. Het groen pakt de houttint op en de poster voegt zich moeiteloos in een Scandinavisch interieur zonder te overheersen. Goud is een spannende keuze voor de hal: felroze tegen goud oogt bewust glamoureus in plaats van alleen maar vrolijk. Mijn favoriet is zwart. Zo’n helder rood en roze verdienen een strakke rand; een vierkante zwarte lijst boven witte tegels geeft een eenvoudige keuken de scherpste look. De ingelijste poster wordt geleverd met glas, achterkant en ophangmateriaal, klaar om op te hangen.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Botst het rood met een keuken die al kleur heeft?
Dat hangt van de kleur af. Tegen wit, crème, lichtgrijs of groen voelt het zich prima thuis, omdat de bladeren zelf al voor groen zorgen. Donkerblauwe kasten werken ook goed met het roze. De kleur die je beter vermijdt is nog een rood of oranje in de buurt, zoals een rode waterkoker of terracotta tegels, waar de kleuren met elkaar concurreren en geen van beide wint.

Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor een vierkant stuk boven een console?
Richt op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van de console. Bij een console van 90 cm betekent dat een stuk van ongeveer 50 tot 60 cm vierkant, opgehangen met ongeveer 20 cm vrije muur tussen de onderkant en de bovenkant van de console. Ga je kleiner, dan verliest de bloem zijn aanwezigheid in een hal. Ga je veel groter, dan neemt de crèmekleurige achtergrond te veel ruimte in een smalle ruimte.

Is het te fel voor een slaapkamer?
In een slaapkamer werkt het het best als het enige kleuraccent in de ruimte. Houd beddengoed wit of oat, hang het aan de muur tegenover het bed in plaats van boven het hoofdeinde, en het rood oogt ’s ochtends vrolijk in plaats van onrustig ’s nachts. Als je de kamer met gedimd licht juist rustig wilt laten voelen, past een zachtere bloem beter.
