How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink dress and deep blue suit clash with a warm cream room?
No — the pink reads dusty rather than sweet, and the blue is deep enough to sit against cream walls without fighting them. It actually warms a cool room. The colour to watch for is heavy mustard or hot orange furniture nearby, which can pull against the pink.
Is the composition centred or does the eye pull to one side?
The eye pulls slightly right and up — towards the woman's face and the man's straw hat. That means it hangs well slightly left of centre on a wall, or at the right-hand end of a long wall, so the visual weight balances rather than tips the room.
Does it work as a vertical statement on a tall, narrow wall?
Yes — that's where it's strongest. The portrait orientation and the standing figures suit tall walls between two windows, at the end of a hallway, or above a console. On a short wide wall it can feel cramped, so go large or pick a wider piece.
