How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright orange clash with my kitchen?
It pairs best with calm backgrounds — warm white, cream, soft sand or pale wood. It can also sit well against dark green or navy cabinetry for a bolder look. Where it struggles is alongside dusty pink, burgundy or deep red walls, where the two oranges and reds fight each other.
Is this suitable for a kids' room or a grown-up kitchen?
Both. The illustration is playful enough for a child's room, but the line work and limited palette stop it feeling babyish, so it sits happily in a family kitchen, breakfast nook or hallway. Children tend to spot the music notes and the smiling faces straight away.
What size works best above a kitchen worktop or shelf?
A medium portrait usually reads best — large enough to be the focal point above a worktop, console or low shelf, but not so big it dominates a smaller kitchen. Allow a hand's width of clear wall on either side so the figures have a bit of breathing room.
