How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the blue shirt clash with navy furniture?
No, it sits comfortably beside navy. The blue here is a mid denim tone, lighter and warmer than navy, so it reads as a related shade rather than a mismatch. If your sofa is navy, hang it slightly away from the sofa wall so the two blues have breathing room and the beige background does the work between them.
Does the face being left blank make it feel odd in a bedroom?
Most people find the opposite. With no eyes or expression, there is nothing looking back at you, so it feels calmer than a detailed portrait. In a bedroom it reads as a shape and a colour note rather than a person in the room. Hang it on a side wall rather than directly facing the bed if you want it even quieter.
Is it strong enough to be the only artwork in a room?
Yes. The heavy black outlines and the wide hat give it a clear silhouette that holds a wall on its own. Go one size up from what you first think, leave plain wall either side, and let a lamp or plant sit below rather than adding more frames around it.
