How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ziet het goud er echt metallic uit, of is het plat gedrukt?
Het goud is gedrukt als een warm, licht verouderd geelgoud — vanop afstand doet het metallic aan maar het is vlakke inkt, geen folie. Onder lamplicht lijkt het te gloeien; bij diffuus daglicht komt het iets zachter over. Dat is mede waarom het zo goed werkt in sfeervolle kamers.

Zal dit een kleine kamer overweldigen?
Minder dan je zou denken. De compositie is symmetrisch en gecentreerd, waardoor het oog snel tot rust komt in plaats van rond te dwalen. In een kleine woonkamer of entree fungeert het als blikvanger — je moet alleen de rest van de muur vrij houden zodat het kan ademen.

Werkt het in een lichtere, meer neutrale ruimte, of alleen in donkere interieurs?
Het werkt in beide, maar op verschillende manieren. In een donkere ruimte gloeit het goud en voelt het werk coconachtig. In een crème- of gebroken-witte ruimte leest het meer grafisch en architectonisch — scherper, minder sfeervol. Combineer het in beide gevallen met warme houttinten en messing.
