Elke keuken heeft zo’n lastige strook muur: te smal voor een plank, te zichtbaar om leeg te laten. Dit vierkante ontwerp past precies zonder het deurkozijn te vullen. De diepe zwarte inkt steekt strak af tegen witte tegels en grijze voeg, terwijl de zachte crème achtergrond mooi aansluit bij veel keukenverf. Daardoor oogt de schets als een subtiele markering op de muur, niet als een los object. Hang op ooghoogte voor iemand die staat – precies voor dat deel van de keuken waar niemand zit. Eén glas met iets kouds zorgt voor een luchtige knipoog op dinsdagochtend. Een zwarte lijst van echt hout met acrylglas houdt het papier schoon in een ruimte vol stoom.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Vloekt de crèmekleurige achtergrond met een puur witte keukenmuur?
Nee, maar het valt wel op. Op helderwit leest de crème achtergrond als een warm vlak, wat de meeste mensen een klinische keuken zachter vinden maken. Op gebroken wit, steen of licht greige verf verdwijnt de achtergrond bijna helemaal en lijkt de zwarte lijn rechtstreeks op de muur getekend. Beide werken. Kies witte verf als je wilt dat het vierkant als object leesbaar blijft, warmere verf als je alleen de tekening wilt zien.

Welke maat werkt naast een ontbijttafel?
Houd het klein. Tussen 30 en 40 cm vierkant zit comfortabel naast een tafel voor twee of vier en blijft leesbaar vanaf een zitplek zonder de kamer toe te schreeuwen. Ga alleen groter als de muur breed en leeg is, want het ene object op een lege ondergrond gaat boven de 50 cm wat verloren lijken. Op een smalle eindmuur is 30 cm met een handbreedte vrije muur aan beide kanten ongeveer goed.

Werkt het ook in een eetkamer in plaats van een keuken?
Ja, zolang de ruimte niet formeel is. De schets heeft het gevoel van een bistro-menukaart, dus hij past beter bij een eetkamer met een eiken tafel, bentwood stoelen en rustige muren dan bij een kamer met een kroonluchter en zware gordijnen. Hang hem liever iets uit het midden, richting deuropening of doorgeefluik, in plaats van precies gecentreerd boven een dressoir waar normaal een groter stuk zou hangen.
