Over dit kunstwerk
Hang hem boven het dressoir; de losse penseelstreken doen het werk. De crèmekleurige ondergrond houdt het rustig, terwijl de roze, gele en blauwe krabben echt persoonlijkheid toevoegen.
Een neutrale keuken of badkamer krijgt meteen een blikvanger. Muren die wat kaal aanvoelden krijgen kleur, zonder dat het thematisch of kitscherig wordt.
Werkt goed boven een consoletafel in de hal, naast het bad of boven een keukendressoir. Komt het mooist tot zijn recht waar wat natuurlijk licht de roze tinten vangt.
Combineert prachtig met rotan, geschilderd hout, warm eiken, geglazuurd keramiek en licht linnen. Een eenvoudige eiken lijst houdt de sfeer luchtig; zwart maakt het strakker.
Probeer het niet te laten aansluiten op een strak marineblauw-wit kustthema—het is zachter en illustratiever dan dat. Gedrukt op premium fine-art papier.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the cream background read as pure white or more of an off-white?
It's a warm off-white, closer to natural paper than bright white. It sits well next to cream and oak rather than crisp clinical white, and stops the pinks and yellows feeling neon.
Will the loose brushwork still look intentional close up?
Yes. The brush marks and yellow dots are part of the design, so the print holds up at viewing distances of around a metre. It's painted in a relaxed style on purpose, not a crisp graphic illustration.
Is it too busy to hang in a small bathroom or cloakroom?
Not really. The cream ground gives the eye plenty of rest between the five crabs, so it carries colour without overwhelming a small wall. Keep surrounding tiles and towels fairly plain.
