In zwart komt het diepe blauw van het meer extra scherp naar voren en oogt het geheel als een grafische poster – perfect op een strakke witte muur in een studeerkamer of in een appartement met veel beton. Ga je voor bruin, dan krijgt het werk een lodge-gevoel: de crèmekleurige rand oogt warmer, de roestkleurige ruitjes springen eruit en het vraagt om vurenhouten lambrisering, een leren fauteuil en een wollen kleed. Eiken zit er precies tussenin en past mooi in een al lichte, Scandinavische ruimte. In de meeste interieurs wint zwart; het meer heeft zelf al genoeg kleur. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Werkt het diepe blauw in een kamer op het noorden?
Ja, met een kanttekening. Koel licht trekt het meer richting leisteen, waardoor het rustiger en minder verzadigd oogt dan in een zonnige kamer. Laat het het echte Crater Lake zien?
Ja en nee. Dit is het aanzicht dat de meeste bezoekers krijgen vanaf de rand van de caldera, kijkend naar Wizard Island, de vulkanische kegel die uit het water oprijst bij de westelijke oever. Crater Lake ligt in Zuid-Oregon en werd in 1902 een nationaal park. Zo’n geometrische rand verwijst naar de parkposters uit de jaren 30, niet naar het landschap zelf.
