How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this be too loud for a small hallway?
It's bold, but a hallway is exactly where that works. You walk past rather than sit with it, so the colour reads as a lift rather than a distraction. Keep the walls plain and the floor simple, and go large — a bigger piece in a tight space looks deliberate, while a small one looks lost.
Does the detail still read from a distance?
The main shapes do. From two or three metres you see the pink tram, the tall pink and yellow buildings and the dark green shutters. The smaller things — washing on a line, flowers in window boxes, the striped awning — only appear when you step closer, which is part of the appeal in a walk-past spot.
What wall colour suits it best?
Off-white and warm white are the safest, letting the pink and mustard sing. Soft pink or a deep green wall also work if you want the room to feel enveloping. Cool grey or pale blue walls tend to flatten the warmth, so if that's your paint, place it where daylight hits the piece directly.
