How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Vloekt het lila met een warme crèmekleurige muur?

Nee, en crème is juist een van de beste achtergronden ervoor. Het lila neemt maar het bovenste derde deel in, en de perzik- en mosterdtinten eronder komen mooi uit tegen warme neutrale tinten. Voor muurkleuren waar je beter voorzichtig mee bent zijn lila, lavendel en lichtblauw, die de lucht wegslikken en het beeld onderin zwaar laten ogen. Kleiroze, gebroken wit en oat werken allemaal.

Hoe hoog moet ik gaan op een gangmuur?

Richt erop dat het stuk ongeveer twee derde van de hoogte tussen plint en plafond vult. In een typische Britse gang betekent dat minstens 80 cm hoog, en 100 cm of meer als het plafond hoog is. Kleiner dan dat en de vierkanten worden meer textuur, verdwijnt de boom aan de basis en oogt de muur eerder ondergestyled dan doordacht.

Lees je dit van verder weg als landschap of als abstract?

Op een paar meter afstand leest het eerst als landschap: maan, heuvels, velden en een enkele boom zijn duidelijk. Het raster neemt pas de overhand als je dichterbij komt, wanneer elk vierkant zijn eigen penseelstreken laat zien. Daarom past het goed op plekken waar je langsloopt, een overloop of een gang, waar je binnen een paar stappen beide leeswijzen krijgt.
