How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the olive and cream stripes clash with patterned tiles or wallpaper?
They can. The print already carries soft stripes plus a detailed botanical, so it works best on a plainer wall. If your kitchen has busy tiles or wallpaper, hang it on a quieter wall nearby — above a sideboard, in a dining nook, or on a pantry door — rather than directly over the pattern.
Is the olive branch in colour or black and white?
The olive branch itself is finely engraved in deep black ink, with the green and cream coming only from the striped background and the decorative cartouche around it. So it reads as a vintage botanical study rather than a colourful illustration — more cookbook plate than poster.
Does this work in a kitchen that isn't Mediterranean or farmhouse?
Yes, within reason. It also sits well in English-country, traditional, and warm modern kitchens with pale oak, brass and stoneware. It struggles in fully sleek, glossy, high-gloss modern kitchens where vintage engraving cues feel out of place.
