Zes baardirissen in diep violet tot bijna aubergine lopen in één strakke lijn over dit langwerpige werk. De gerafelde bloemblaadjes hebben zichtbaar volume: licht lila waar het licht valt, bijna zwart in de watervallen, met saliegroene stelen en knoppen die er sierlijk tussendoor buigen. De roomkleurige achtergrond houdt het geheel rustig, waardoor het paars helder afsteekt tegen stucwerk, noten- of donker eikenhout en een fluwelen bank in pruim of olijf. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor boven mijn bank?
Richt op ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van de bank. Voor een driezitsbank van rond de 210 cm breed zit een werk van ongeveer 140 cm breed mooi. De irissen lopen van rand tot rand in één lijn, dus de schildering komt het best tot zijn recht als hij breed genoeg is om de breedte van het meubel te volgen in plaats van als een klein strookje erboven te zweven.

Zijn de bloemen paars of zwart?
Allebei. De opstaande bloemblaadjes zijn duidelijk violet met bleke lila accenten, terwijl de gegolfde onderste bloemblaadjes zo donker zijn dat ze bijna zwart aubergine lijken. Tegen de crèmekleurige achtergrond voelt het geheel rijk in plaats van somber, en de saliegroene stelen verzachten het contrast tussen bloem en achtergrond.

Past dit ook in een slaapkamer en niet alleen in een woonkamer?
Ja. Laag boven een tweepersoons- of kingsize hoofdeinde hangt het lange formaat mooi in verhouding met de breedte van het bed, en de crèmekleurige achtergrond houdt de kamer rustig.
