How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this too loud for a small kitchen?

Not really, as long as it's the only loud thing on the wall. The off-white background gives the eye somewhere to rest, and at medium size it reads as one cheerful shot of colour rather than visual noise. Keep nearby shelves and worktops calm and it sits comfortably.

Will the hot pink and lime green clash with warm wood cabinets?

Pale oak, birch and painted timber work well — the warm ground in the print bridges them. Where it gets tricky is very orange-toned mid-tone woods or dark walnut, which can fight the pink. If your cabinetry is warm and orange already, try it on a painted wall above the units rather than between them.

Can children read what's in it?

Yes — the dachshund, tiger, spaghetti bowl and wine bottle are all clearly drawn, even with the loose painted style around them. It works well in family kitchens and kids' eating areas because there's plenty to point at and name without the picture feeling babyish.
