’s Avonds komt deze poster het best tot zijn recht. Plafondlicht rond zeven uur maakt veel kleuren vlak, maar het koraal blijft krachtig en het nachtblauw verdiept, zodat de muur diepte krijgt in plaats van alleen decoratie. Hang hem op het smalle stuk tussen twee deuren, waar daglicht toch al schaars is. Met warm gebroken wit stucwerk erachter en een effen wollen loper eronder ontstaat een rustige, doordachte lijn in de gang. ’s Ochtends verschuift het effect. Zijlicht van het overloopraam pakt het mosterdgeel op en verwarmt de hele strook nog vóór de verwarming aanslaat. Houd het formaat lang; als je te kort cropt, verliezen de heuvels hun gelaagdheid en wordt de muur weer gewoon een gang. Verder hoeft er niets naast te hangen. Gedrukt op fine-art papier blijft de gestippelde textuur strak en helder achter glas.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Blijven de kleuren overeind in een gang zonder daglicht?

Ja, en beter dan de meeste. Het navy en teal zijn donker genoeg om hun diepte te behouden onder één warme hanglamp, en het koraal zit ver genoeg ervan af om zichtbaar te blijven. Gebruik een warm peertje in plaats van koel wit. Koel licht trekt het teal richting grijs en maakt de mosterd vlak, en juist dat is het enige dat dit stuk minder sterk maakt.

Hoe groot moet ik gaan voor op een trapbordes?

Kies hoog genoeg zodat het stuk vanaf ongeveer heuphoogte tot boven je hoofd reikt wanneer je op het bordes staat. Op de meeste bordessen betekent dat de grote maat of groter. Het patroon bestaat uit kleine stippen en strepen, dus in een kleine maat leest het vanaf de trap als textuur en verdwijnen de heuvels. Hoogte is wat dit laat werken.

Leest het teal op de muur als blauw of groen?

Dat verschuift met de kleur van de muur. Tegen warm gebroken wit neigt het naar groen en voelt de kamer aardser. Tegen een diepe navy- of tealmuur neigt het naar blauw en komt het koraal meer naar voren. Naast grijs wordt het flets, dus vermijd lichte grijze verf in de buurt. Wil je een veilige middenweg, dan houdt een warme crèmekleurige muur beide lezingen in stand en laat het mosterd het geheel verwarmen.
