How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright blue and yellow clash with a warm neutral room?
Not usually. The dark mountain shapes do most of the visual work, and the warm pale yellow sky sits comfortably alongside cream, oat and pale oak. The blue reads as a single clean accent rather than a colour scheme. Keep nearby cushions and ceramics in soft pink, terracotta or natural tones and it settles in.
Is this better hung portrait above a sofa or in a hallway?
Both work. Above a sofa it gives a clear focal point without overwhelming, especially on a wider wall where there's air on either side. In a hallway above a slim console it really earns its keep — the tall format suits narrow walls, and the strong shapes still read well at a glance as you walk past.
Does the composition feel balanced or does it pull to one side?
It's broadly centred. The river runs down the middle and the dark mountain masses sit on either side, so the weight is even. The small terracotta and yellow accents on the right add a slight pull, but not enough to look lopsided — it hangs comfortably as a single centred piece.
