Elke woning heeft die ene lege wand: het korte stukje in de overloop, de strook naast de kapstok, de halve muur boven het schoenenbankje. Dit werk vult precies zo’n plek – één vierkant, geen gedoe. Hang op ooghoogte tegen kalkachtig off‑white stuc; het oranje doet de rest en brengt warmte waar normaal alleen een lichtschakelaar hangt. Het zwart van de kat pakt donkere deurknoppen of ijzeren haken op. Laat hem het hele jaar hangen. Oktober is het excuus; de crèmekleurige achtergrond is de reden dat hij blijft. Onder 40 cm oogt het spookje als een sticker; kies daarom medium, laat hem solo hangen. Een licht geverfde plank eronder, één kaars – klaar. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Gaat het oranje vloeken met een terracotta- of roestkleurenschema?

Dat kan. De pompoen is een duidelijke, heldere oranje tint in plaats van een gedempte kleitint, dus naast een roestbank of terracottakleed leest hij als een iets andere oranje en concurreren ze met elkaar. Hij voelt veel fijner op off-white, oat of lichtgrijze muren waar hij de enige warme kleur in zicht is, met zwart of donker hout in de buurt om de kat te echoën.

Werkt dit alleen in oktober?

Voor het grootste deel wel. De achtergrond is crème en de plank geschilderd, en het spook is een zachte, vriendelijke vorm in plaats van iets engs. In een hal of keuken leest het als een herfststilleven met een knipoog erin, en veel mensen laten het staan van september tot Kerst of het hele jaar. Vervang de pompoen eronder door een kaars en het voelt niet meer als Halloween aan de muur.

Welke maat moet ik kiezen voor een smalle hal?

Ga voor medium als de muur het toelaat. De figuren staan laag in het vierkant met veel lege achtergrond erboven, dus een kleine poster maakt het spook en de kat te klein om vanaf de voordeur goed te zien. Op een muur van ongeveer 60 tot 80 cm breed vult een medium vierkant op ooghoogte de ruimte zonder de randen te raken, en één stuk is genoeg.
