Witte of havermoutkleurige linnen beddengoed oogt helderder ertegen. Een roest- of baksteenkleurig kussen pakt het rood op zonder te overheersen. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wordt een kleine slaapkamer donkerder door de donkere groene achtergrond?

Minder dan je zou verwachten. Het groen trekt zich terug in plaats van op de voorgrond te staan, en de roze bloemen en warme bruine tint geven genoeg licht zodat de muur niet als een gat oogt. Houd het beddengoed licht, oat of wit, en geef het werk een muur die wat daglicht krijgt. In een kamer zonder raam aan die kant kun je beter een maat kleiner kiezen, zodat het groen minder van de muur beslaat.

Welke kleur muur werkt erachter?

Warm gebroken wit is de veilige keuze en laat het hele werk duidelijk uitkomen. Diep groen dicht bij de basiskleur is de stoerdere optie; dan zweven de figuur en bloemen als het ware op de muur en voelt de kamer af. Vermijd koel grijs, dat botst met het warme bruin en het roze flets maakt. Pleisterroze muren werken ook, mits de ruimte groot en goed verlicht is.

Werkt het liggende formaat boven een tweepersoonsbed?

Daar is het juist voor gemaakt. Met ongeveer 100 cm breed past het bij een standaard tweepersoons hoofdbord, en vanaf 120 cm is het geschikt voor een kingsize bed. Hang het zo dat de onderrand een handbreedte boven de bovenkant van het hoofdbord zit, gecentreerd boven het bed, met de nachtlampen onder de onderrand. Boven een driezitsbank geldt dezelfde regel, en het werk mag nooit smaller zijn dan twee derde van de bank.
