How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Lijkt de antraciete cirkel niet te donker in een kleine kamer?
Hij oogt als één donkere vorm in plaats van een zwaar blok, omdat de lichtgrijze achtergrond bijna de helft van de afbeelding beslaat. In een kleine slaapkamer of hal werkt hij als een punt op de muur. Houd de omliggende muur licht en laat wat ademruimte aan beide kanten, dan voelt hij rustig in plaats van benauwd.

Kan ik deze samen met de andere sterrenbeeldontwerpen ophangen?
Ja, en dat is de makkelijkste manier om hem te gebruiken. Door het vierkante formaat, de bijpassende cirkelrand en hetzelfde grijze en gebroken witte palet sluiten twee, drie of vier sterrenbeelden netjes aan met gelijke tussenruimte. Hang ze in een rechte rij op ooghoogte, of in een nette blokvorm van vier. Dezelfde maat per stuk houdt het verzorgd.

Is het woord weegschaal van een afstand goed leesbaar?
De letters zijn klein en laag in de cirkel geplaatst, dus van een paar meter afstand zie je vooral het sterrenbeeld en de ring. Dat is bewust zo. Kies een middelgroot of groot formaat als je wilt dat het woord vanaf de bank leesbaar is; bij kleine formaten zie je het vooral als een subtiel detail in plaats van een kop.
