How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Leest de zachte saliegroene achtergrond in mijn kamer als groen of als neutraal?
Het zit er tussenin. Tegen warm wit of crèmekleurige muren voelt het als een zacht, nevelig groen. Tegen koelere grijze muren leest het meer als een bleke neutrale tint. In beide gevallen blijft het rustig — de zwemmers en hun roze en bruine badkleding dragen het meeste zichtbare detail.

Is dit te zacht om solo boven een bed te werken?
Nee — het is juist ontworpen voor zo'n rustige plek. Het vierkante formaat en de gecentreerde compositie geven het voldoende aanwezigheid boven een hoofdbord of console in een middelgroot formaat. Als je slaapkamer erg groot is of je hoofdbord breed, kies dan voor een grotere maat in plaats van het te combineren met een tweede poster.

Werkt het in een badkamer met echte vochtigheid?
Ingelijst met acrylglas en een afgedekte achterkant kan het prima in een normale gezinsbadkamer hangen. Vermijd ophangen direct boven een douche of bad waar het voortdurend stoom krijgt. Een badkamer in de hal, een gastentoilet of een goed geventileerde ensuite is de ideale plek voor dit werk.
