How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the deep blue sea look too heavy in a small room?

The blue is balanced by the cream, mustard and coral in the buildings, so it reads bright rather than weighty. In a small room it actually helps — the strong blue gives the wall depth, while the warm tones keep the overall feel sunny rather than cold or dense.

Is this a recognisable Italian town or a more general scene?

It's a painterly impression rather than a literal portrait of a specific town. The yellow and pink villa fronts, moored fishing boats and palm tree read as classic southern Italian coast — somewhere between Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast and Sicily — without naming a single location.

Does it work in a north-facing room with cooler light?

Yes — the warm mustard, coral and pink in the buildings actually lift cooler, north-facing rooms. It's one of the better picks for a wall that doesn't get much direct sun, because the colours bring their own warmth rather than relying on the light to do it.
