We like a minimal line study best when it comes with a little abrasion. That soft brushed mark near the base gives this piece something to hold on to, so it feels drawn rather than clinical. Hang it on a chalky off-white or warm plaster wall and the room quiets down around it. It works above a low console, a slim writing desk, or at the end of a hallway where the eye needs a breath. Pair it with pale wood, linen, stoneware and a paper lamp or two. Skip it if your walls are already busy with pattern or high-contrast art — this one needs air. How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is this piece too subtle to hold a wall on its own?
It's quiet but it's not invisible. On a warm off-white or plaster wall it reads as a soft vertical anchor, especially in a medium size. Give it clear wall space on both sides and hang it at eye level above a console, bench or headboard, and it holds its own without needing companions.
Will the cream ground clash with cool white walls?
The ground is warm cream rather than pure white, so it can look slightly yellow against a very cool white wall. It sits best on warm off-white, oat, plaster or chalky cream paint. If your walls are cool grey-white, a slim black frame helps bridge the temperature difference.
Does it work in a pair or trio?
Yes. It pairs well with other minimal line studies or soft neutral abstracts in the same cream and oat family. Keep companions in a similar low-contrast palette and portrait format, and space them evenly so each piece keeps its breathing room.
