How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the rust brown clash with a terracotta or clay-painted wall?
It works, as long as there is a tonal gap. The brown here is deeper and redder than most clay paints, so it reads as a darker layer rather than a match. On a very close terracotta wall, the shape softens. If your wall is that warm, choose a lighter size and let the pale blue squares do the lifting.
Is the pale blue strong enough to tie into a blue sofa or cushions?
Only loosely. The blue is chalky and soft, closer to a pale grey-blue than a true blue, so it will not match navy or teal furnishings. Treat it as a light accent rather than a colour link. If you want it to connect, repeat it in small things like ceramics or a throw.
Does the composition need a lot of empty wall around it?
It benefits from it. The grid runs almost to the edges, so it looks best with clear wall on both sides and nothing competing at the same height. Above a sofa or sideboard, aim for a print noticeably narrower than the furniture, with breathing room left and right.
