Om detta konstverk

There's a reason illustrators kept returning to garden birds; rooms still respond. A bird mid-flight in blue, black and bright orange, set against a warm sand background with a grainy printed finish. Put it up and a wall of neutrals suddenly has a focal point — the orange does the lifting, the sand keeps it calm. It works above a console in a hallway, on a study wall behind a desk, or slightly off-centre above a sofa where you want colour without pattern. Pair it with pale wood, linen, matt black metal and a rust or navy cushion picking up the print's own colours. Don't crowd it with busy florals or fussy frames; this piece wants a bit of clear wall either side. On paper the grainy print texture stays sharp and the flat colour reads clean.

Tryck, Papper och Ramar

TRYCK OCH PAPPER:

Precis giclée-tryck
Varje tryck görs med högupplösta giclée-skrivare. Det ger skarpa detaljer, rika färger och en finish i gallerikvalitet. Våra tryck håller i över 100 år.

Papper i museikvalitet
Vi använder premium, tungt konstpapper med matt yta. Det framhäver detaljer, toner och texturer på ett vackert sätt.

Matt finish
Matt papper betyder inga reflektioner.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the orange strong enough to clash with warm terracotta or rust furnishings?

It sits happily with them. The orange here is bright and flat rather than muddy, so it reads as a deliberate accent next to rust cushions or terracotta pots. If your room already has several strong warm reds, keep this piece as the loudest note and let the softer sand background do the linking work.

Will it work on a dark wall or does it need a pale one?

Both work, but differently. On off-white or pale plaster the sand background blends in and the bird floats. On a deep green or navy wall the sand becomes a bright panel and the whole thing looks framed and graphic. Dark walls suit the larger sizes best so the border doesn't feel cramped.

Does the flying pose look odd if I hang it next to another bird print?

Line up the direction of travel. The bird's beak points up and to the right, so a companion facing left or a still, perched bird balances it. Two prints both flying the same way can look like a repeat rather than a pair. Leave a little breathing space between them.
