Om detta konstverk

Rooms go quieter when deep brown-green is this sure of itself. Three cranes lift past a gold moon, and the whole wall settles into something slower. Put it up and the room reads warmer and more finished — the dark background absorbs glare, so lamplight in the evening does the work instead of the ceiling light. It earns its keep above a sideboard, a low bench or a bed, and it holds a chimney breast on its own. Pair it with tan leather, deep brown wood, oat linen and one piece of plain stoneware. Don't crowd it with busy pattern or bright white accessories; the gold needs calm around it to glow. On fine-art paper the misty background keeps its softness and the moon stays matt rather than shiny.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look too dark on a pale wall?

No — the contrast is part of the appeal. Against off-white or pale plaster the deep brown-green background reads as a solid, calm block, and the cream cranes and gold moon lift straight out of it. If your wall is already a deep colour, go a size up so the image has room to breathe and the pale birds stay easy to read from across the room.

Does the square shape limit where I can hang it?

Not really. Squares are handy above low, wide furniture — a sideboard, a bench, a chest of drawers — because they fill the height without stretching sideways. They also suit chimney breasts and short stretches of wall between doors. Leave about 15–20cm of clear wall each side so the shape reads as deliberate rather than squeezed in.

What colours in the room will bring out the gold?

Warm materials do the heavy lifting. Tan or aged leather, deep brown wood, unglazed stoneware, linen in oat or clay, and mustard or rust textiles all echo the gold moon and the cream birds. Avoid pairing it with cool grey and chrome only — the gold can look muddy next to blue-greys with nothing warm nearby.
