Mucha's 1896 JOB poster arrives as a full piece of Art Nouveau decoration — honey blonde hair, deep plum border, ornamental lettering, gilded curls. Put it on a wall and the room slows down. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep plum border look too dark on a pale wall?

No. The border reads as a warm frame around honey blonde and cream, so on an off-white or soft pink wall the plum sits as a rich outline rather than a dark block. It actually helps the print feel held together rather than floating, especially at larger sizes.

Does the cigarette imagery date the piece for a modern home?

The smoke reads more as a decorative ribbon than a product cue, and most people respond to the hair, ornament and lettering first. If you'd rather play down the advertising history, hang it as a romantic Art Nouveau portrait in a bedroom or dressing area rather than a public living space.

Is it too decorative for a pared-back, modern room?

It's ornate, so it works best when given room to breathe. In a minimal interior, treat it as the single feature on a plain wall with plenty of space around it. Pair it with one quiet shape — a simple chair, a plain console — and let the print do the decorative work on its own.
