How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the background a true white or a warm off-white?

It's a warm off-white with a soft creamy undertone, not a stark bright white. That makes it easier to live with on painted walls and stops the black shapes feeling harsh. If your walls are very cool or blue-toned, the print will read slightly warm against them.

Does the heavy black circle make this feel too dark for a small room?

The shapes are bold but the cream background is doing most of the work, so it stays light overall. In a small room, give it a hand's width of clear wall on each side and it will hold the space without making it feel closed in. Cramped framing is what makes it feel heavy, not the shapes themselves.

Does the word BAUHAUS read clearly from across a room?

Yes — the type is clean and well-spaced, and it sits low under the shapes so it reads as a label rather than a headline. From a normal viewing distance of a metre or two it's legible without dominating. If you'd rather the geometry led entirely, hang it slightly higher so the shapes catch the eye first.
