How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How busy does this read on the wall?

Quite busy up close — there's a lot of fine detail in the horse's body and the flowers around it. From across the room it reads as a confident blue-and-white pattern piece rather than a fussy one, because the cream background gives the eye plenty of rest.

Will it work in a room that already has blue-and-white china or wallpaper?

Yes, as long as nothing else on the same wall is competing for attention. It sits happily in a room with blue-and-white ginger jars, a striped runner or a small print of wallpaper, but it doesn't want another large patterned artwork directly next to it.

Does the horse face a particular direction?

The horse walks to the left, with its head turned slightly toward the viewer. Worth knowing if you're hanging it at the end of a hallway or beside a doorway — it tends to look best when it walks into the room rather than out of it.
