How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the black background look heavy in a small room?
The black ground is broken up by warm creams, soft pinks and green leaves, so it reads more cosy than heavy. In smaller rooms it actually helps the wall feel deeper. If your room is very dim, hang it on the wall that catches the most daylight so the warm tones come forward.
Is there enough pattern that it clashes with patterned rugs or cushions?
It is a busy print, so it pairs best with plain or low-pattern textiles nearby. A solid linen sofa, a flat-weave rug, or a simple woven throw lets the vases do the talking. If you want patterned cushions, keep them in one of the print's own colours — soft pink, coral, cream or dusty green.
Does it work above a bed, or only in living spaces?
It works above a bed if the headboard wall is the main focus of the room and the bedding stays calm. Plain linen in cream, soft pink or warm clay sits well underneath it. Skip it above a bed with a heavily patterned headboard or busy quilt — the wall would start to compete.
