How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this too spooky for a child's room?

Most kids find it cute rather than scary — the ghost has a small, simple face and the whole scene reads as a soft autumn landscape. If your child is sensitive to anything Halloween-related, it's worth a quick check first, but it sits closer to a storybook illustration than a horror image.

Will this still look right in spring and summer?

Yes. The orange trees and warm browns are autumnal, but the colour family is earthy enough to sit comfortably year-round, especially in rooms with warm wood, linen and cream walls. It reads as a quiet landscape that happens to have a ghost in it, not a Halloween decoration.

How does the ghost read from across the room?

The ghost sits roughly centre-left and is the brightest thing in the picture, so it's the first thing your eye finds even from a few metres away. Up close you notice the lake, the small house on the hill and the autumn trees — it works at both distances.
