How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark background look heavy in a small hallway?
The dark panel is bordered by a wide warm-cream margin, which keeps the overall print feeling lighter than a true dark-ground piece. In a small hallway with chalky off-white or soft sage walls, it reads as a clear focal point rather than a heavy block, especially with a warm lamp or natural daylight nearby.
How readable is the exhibition text from across a room?
The 'William Morris' and 'South Kensington' lines are large and clear from two or three metres away. The smaller dates and opening hours are designed to be read up close, which suits hallways and bedrooms where people pass near the wall rather than only viewing from a sofa.
Does the swan sit centred, or is it weighted to one side?
The swan sits roughly centred in the floral panel, with its head turned slightly left and its body angled across the lower half. The composition is balanced rather than off-centre, so it hangs cleanly above a console, chest of drawers or headboard without pulling the eye to one side.
