How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the red on the crest very bright, or does it sit quietly in the print?
It's a small, contained patch of deep red on one bird's crest — more of a punctuation mark than a colour story. The rest of the print is cream, black, soft grey and warm brown, so the red reads as an accent rather than dominating the room.
Does the composition feel balanced, or is it weighted to one side?
Three birds are spread across the tree, with the largest on the lower left and two smaller birds upper-right and lower-right. The eye moves around the print rather than pulling to one corner, so it hangs well on its own and doesn't need a mirror image to balance it.
Will it look too dark above a low piece of furniture?
No — most of the print is warm cream paper, so it stays light overall even with the black bird shapes. Above a console or low desk it reads as a calm, tall column rather than a heavy block, which is why it suits hallways and studies.
