How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the blue background look heavy on a small bedroom wall?
It reads as a soft deep blue-grey rather than a true dark navy, so it sits well on pale plaster or off-white walls without making the room feel smaller. In a small bedroom, a slightly bigger size actually helps — the swan needs sky around it to feel calm rather than cramped.
Is the swan placed in the centre, or off to one side?
The swan sits across the upper and middle of the composition, with the head and beak pointing to the upper right and the wings stretched diagonally. The eye-line pulls slightly to the right and up, so it works best on a wall where you can hang it as a single centred piece rather than tucked into a corner.
Will it look right above a low headboard, or does it need a tall wall?
It's designed for above-bed and above-console placements, so a low or medium headboard suits it well. You want a bit of wall space above the furniture so the swan has sky to fly into — aim for at least 15–20 cm between the top of the headboard and the bottom of the frame.
