How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the looped red border part of the print or a frame?
It's printed — the looped red border is drawn into the artwork itself, sitting just inside the off-white ground. You can frame the print on top of it if you like, but the border is meant to be visible and is a big part of why the piece feels like a little café menu.
Will this feel too childish for a grown-up kitchen?
No — the drawing is loose but the palette is restrained, soft pink, cream and mustard on off-white, with one cherry-red accent. It reads as friendly illustration rather than nursery art, and sits comfortably in a kitchen or dining room used by adults.
Does it work in a kitchen with lots of red already?
Probably not at its best. The cherry and the looped border are doing the colour work here, so a kitchen with red tiles, red appliances or strong red textiles will fight it. It shows best against cream, off-white or soft pink walls with mostly neutral fittings.
