How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the disco ball detail still readable in a medium-size print?

Yes. The mosaic squares and small flecks of orange, red, yellow and blue stay crisp at medium size, especially when hung at eye level. If you want every tiny tile sharp from across the room, size up. For most kitchens and bar nooks, medium reads well from a normal standing distance.

Will the off-white background look dirty against a bright white wall?

The paper ground is a soft, warm off-white rather than pure white, so on a bright cool-white wall it can read slightly cream. On warm off-white, painted walls or timber it sits naturally. A black or oak frame helps anchor it visually if your wall is very stark.

Does it work in a more grown-up dining room, or only casual kitchens?

It can hold a grown-up dining room if the rest of the styling is calm — deep green or warm white walls, oak or walnut furniture, stoneware and good glassware. The piece supplies the wit, so the room around it can stay restrained. It's the punchline, not the whole act.
