How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep pink dominate a small room?

It will carry the wall, yes — that's the point. In a small room it works best as the only piece of art on that wall, with the rest of the room kept calm in off-white, oak or warm cream. Echo the pink once lower down — a cushion or a book spine — so it doesn't sit alone in its colour.

Is this a poster-style print with the artist's name printed on it?

Yes. It's reproduced in the exhibition-poster format, with 'Henri Matisse' and 'The Circus' set in typography below the image and a fine rule line beneath. If you want only the cut-out image with no text, this isn't the right version for you.

Does it work above a sofa, or only on a smaller wall?

It works above a sofa at the medium size if the sofa is in a neutral fabric and the wall behind it isn't already busy. For a longer sofa, go up a size so the print holds its share of the wall. Above a console or sideboard, the medium size is usually right.
