How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the cream background closer to a true white or a warm off-white?
It's a warm off-white with a soft, paper-like tone — not a bright optical white. It sits comfortably against most cream, oat and stone wall colours, and reads as warm rather than crisp. If your walls are very cool or stark white, expect a small contrast at the edges.
Does the heart sit dead centre or slightly off?
The big central heart is roughly centred horizontally but sits a touch below the middle line, because the corner letters carry visual weight at the top-left and bottom-right. The effect is balanced rather than perfectly symmetrical, which is what gives it the playing-card feel.
Will it look too sparse on a larger wall?
On its own above a console or desk, the empty space is the point — it gives the heart room to breathe. On a wide feature wall it can feel small if hung solo, so either size up to a statement format or pair it with one or two companion prints in the same cream and black range.
