How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep blue feel heavy in a small room?
Less than you'd expect. The blue is bright and clean rather than dark, and the open space around the figure keeps it feeling airy. In a small room, go for the large rather than statement size and leave clear wall around it — it acts more like a window than a weight.
Does the small red dot fight a warm-toned room?
The red is tiny and lands as a heartbeat rather than a colour block. It actually plays nicely with mustard, rust and warm woods. The pairing to watch is dusty pinks or pale lilacs — the red can look a bit shouty next to those.
Is this better as one big piece or part of a pair?
One big piece. Icarus is built to be a soloist — the figure reads as a single confident gesture, and clustering it with other prints flattens that energy. If you want a partner on a nearby wall, choose something quiet and small, not another statement piece.
