All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It's a strong colour, but the cream border around the image gives the eye a rest, so it sits better in small rooms than you'd expect. Keep the wall plain and off-white, hang it at eye level, and don't crowd it with other framed pieces. In a snug study or hallway, one Icarus on its own usually works better than two smaller prints.

The figure leans slightly to the right with arms raised, and the red heart sits just left of centre. The composition pulls the eye gently to the right and upward toward the brightest yellow star. That makes it a good fit on a wall where there's empty space or a window to the right, rather than tight against a corner on that side.

Black is the safest — it picks up the cut-out figure and sharpens the whole composition. Oak is the warmer choice and softens things if your room already has plenty of timber. Avoid white frames here; they tend to wash out the cream border and make the blue look heavier. Gold and silver fight with the yellow stars.
