How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the print include the London Underground text at the bottom?
Yes — the lower third of the print carries 'KEW GARDENS' in a serif typeface, with the classic Underground roundel and the line 'District Line · Kew Gardens Station · TW9 3AB' beneath. It's part of the design, not a removable caption, so the print reads as a travel poster as much as a botanical scene.
Will the greens look too dark in a small or north-facing room?
The greens are deep but balanced against a warm cream background, so the overall feel is bright rather than heavy. In a smaller or cooler room it actually lifts the wall, because the cream reads as light. If your room is very dim, hang it where it catches daylight from a window.
Is the portrait shape better suited to a hallway or a kitchen?
Both work, for different reasons. A hallway gives it a tall, uninterrupted run of wall, which suits the vertical palms. A kitchen lets it sit beside real plants and timber, which plays into the garden-room feel. If you have a narrow hallway with a console, that's the easiest win.
