I Googled the Colors I Wanted and Found my Perfect Print

I just moved from a three-bedroom, two story house to a two bedroom ground floor apartment. This is the start of my new life and I want new things in my new place. I stumbled across Fab by Googling, "Print, gold, teal, brown" and they popped up. I found the perfect picture in the perfect orientation with the perfect frame. My anal-retentive brother came over and hung it for me--Perfectly level! It looks perfect. I'm already eyeballing another print for my bedroom that has yet to be decorated. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the blue background heavy enough to feel oppressive in a small room?

It's saturated, but the ivory and pale-lilac poppy heads break the cobalt into rhythmic punctuation, so it reads as depth rather than weight. In a small bedroom or study it actually feels enveloping — closer to a deep paint colour on one wall than a dark picture. Keep the surrounding walls pale and let it be the only strong colour in the room.

Does the 'Gustav Klimt' caption read as part of the artwork or like a watermark?

It's composed as part of the piece — classic gallery-poster typography sitting in a generous band of off-white at the foot of the image. From normal viewing distance it reads as exhibition signage, not as text laid over the painting, and balances the dense floral field above it.

Will the green stems clash with warm wood furniture underneath?

No — the stems sit in viridian and teal-green tones that lean cool, but they're a small share of the image. Against warm oak, walnut or rattan they read as a quiet accent rather than a clash. If your wood is very orange-toned, pair the print with one cool element nearby (a stoneware lamp, a linen runner) to bridge the temperatures.
