How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the green and stone tones read as muted in a bright room?
Yes, gently. The greens are leafy rather than vivid, and the stone shapes are a warm sandy beige, so in strong daylight the picture feels soft and painterly rather than loud. In a north-facing or lamplit room the warm browns come forward and it reads a touch moodier.
Does it work above a sofa or does it need a quieter wall?
It works above a sofa as long as the cushions are calm — linen, bouclé or solid colours in cream, sand or muted green. The brushwork is busy on its own, so a fussy patterned sofa underneath will fight it. A plain or chalky painted wall behind helps it settle.
Is the brushwork still readable at a smaller size?
The shapes of the trees, rocks and sky stay clear at a medium size, which is the sweet spot for most living rooms and bedrooms. Go larger if you want the loose strokes to feel close to the original painting and pull the eye in from across the room.
