How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the puppy meant to be a specific breed?
It reads as a young Labrador or Labrador-cross — cream-white coat, soft features, the broad head and floppy ears of a lab puppy. It isn't drawn to a strict breed standard, so it suits anyone with a cream or yellow lab, a golden retriever puppy, or a similar mixed-breed at home. The character matters more than the pedigree here.
Will the marigold yellow and pepperoni red work in a room that already has warm wood?
Yes, beautifully. The ochre sits in the same temperature family as oak, walnut, and warm pine, so they reinforce each other rather than clash. The pepperoni red is a small accent rather than a dominant block, so it acts like a punctuation mark. Avoid placing it next to cool greys or chrome, which will fight the warmth.
Does the inky black background make the print feel heavy on a small wall?
Less than you'd think. The black sits behind the puppy as negative space, so the eye lands on the cream coat and marigold sofa first. On a small wall, choose the medium size and frame in black to let the dark ground read as a graphic edge rather than a heavy block. It actually helps the print feel sharper, not weightier.
