How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the cream background look dingy on a white wall?
No — the background is a warm cream rather than bright white, so it sits softly against most painted walls. It actually looks best on chalky off-white, deep green or warm grey walls, where the charcoal birds and cream paper feel intentional rather than washed out.
Is this too intense for a living room?
Two perched falcons on a bare branch read as quiet and scholarly rather than aggressive. There's no prey, no action — just stillness. In a living room with dark wood, linen and warm lamp light, it adds character without dominating. If you want soft and decorative, choose a botanical instead.
What frame colour suits it best?
A warm brown or dark walnut frame leans into the antique natural-history character and pairs well with dark-academia and English-country rooms. Black gives a sharper, more graphic museum feel. Oak can work in lighter rooms, but brown or black usually holds the mood better.
