How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft pink pot read as too pastel in a more grown-up room?

The pink is muted and sits against a warm off-white background, so it reads as a soft, dusty pink rather than a sweet pastel. Paired with black metal, pale oak and cream textiles it stays modern. If your room runs to deep burgundies and reds, the pink will look lighter by contrast — worth testing on the wall first.

Is the line work detailed enough to fill a larger wall?

The drawing is deliberately loose and sparse, so it reads best at a medium size where the ink strokes have room to breathe. On a very large wall the off-white background can feel empty. If you want it bigger, hang it as part of a small two or three piece grouping rather than as a single oversized panel.

Does it work in a room that already has real plants?

Yes, and it tends to look better in a room with live greenery. The sketchy style is clearly an interpretation rather than a botanical study, so it sits happily next to real foliage without competing. A trailing pothos or a single olive stem on a shelf nearby will quietly echo the drawing.
